Researchers’ Nights 2026: Emotions at the Heart of Research
What if research could help us better understand our emotions?
Researchers’ Nights are returning to Université Bourgogne Europe on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 September 2026 for two evenings dedicated to bringing the public and the university’s researchers together.
This year, emotions are at the heart of the programme: joy, fear, anger, stress, sadness, surprise… How do they influence our memories, our relationships, our decisions and even our perception of the world? Come and chat with the researchers and discover their work in a new light, in a friendly atmosphere that is accessible to everyone.
Two evenings to meet the scientists
Over two days, several areas of the campus will be transformed into spaces for discussion and discovery.
The Garden of Emotions will offer an immersive experience centred on our six fundamental emotions. It’s an opportunity to reflect on our feelings and chat with the scientists in attendance.
At Polytech Dijon, activities, meet-ups and discussions will allow you to explore different research topics and talk directly with the researchers.
A series of talks will also punctuate these two evenings, delving deeper into certain themes and sharing scientific knowledge with the public.
