The Université Bourgogne Europe has its own Foundation, a philanthropic organization whose mission is tThe Université Bourgogne Europe has its own Foundation, a philanthropic organization whose mission is to support the Université Bourgogne Europe and its partners in their missions and development, by promoting excellence in research and training, multidisciplinarity, and the attractiveness and influence of the institution.
Our mission is to raise private funds and redistribute them to support projects of public interest led by the academic community.
We support projects that align with our areas of focus :
- Priority 1: High-impact research and innovation: Supporting projects of excellence aimed at scientific and societal progress (Support for high-potential scientific programs, state-of-the-art equipment, chairs, interdisciplinary projects, etc.)
- Priority 2: Culture and the Dissemination of Knowledge: Promoting heritage, campus life, and the dissemination of knowledge; enhancing the attractiveness and influence of the Université Bourgogne Europe (cultural projects, science outreach, promotion of university heritage, improvement of the living environment, restoration of collections, etc.)
- Priority 3: Region and Sustainability: Develop innovative projects addressing Burgundy’s major societal challenges (Innovative projects tailored to the specific needs of the Burgundy region, environmental initiatives, actions supporting the energy transition, etc.)
You too can support the Foundation of Université Bourgogne Europe :
- Through financial sponsorship: cash donations, either unrestricted or earmarked for a specific project
- Through in-kind sponsorship: donations or provision of equipment, products, services, licenses, space, data, etc.
- Through skills-based sponsorship: providing an employee, regardless of the duration of the assignment (engineers, technicians, experts, etc.).
Depending on their tax status, individuals and businesses are eligible for the tax benefits provided by law for any donation made to the Foundation. The Foundation is authorized to issue you an official tax receipt entitling you to these benefits.
Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible:
Corporate Income Tax : Your donation of €1,000 costs you only €400 after a 60% tax deduction, up to a limit of 0.5% of your revenue
Real Estate Wealth Tax : Your donation of €1,000 costs you only €250 after a 75% tax deduction, up to a limit of €50,000 per year.
Income Tax : Your donation of €1,000 costs you only €340 after a 66% tax deduction, up to 20% of your taxable income. Any excess amount can be carried forward for 5 years.
