Registration steps for international degree-seeking students

Administrative registration

Administrative registration, organized by the International Office, takes place in person in Dijon at the beginning of the academic year (end of August-beginning of September). The exact location, dates and times are published on this page usually at the end of June.

In order to register, you must pay the registration fee and be in possession of all the required documents (the list of required documents is available on the Obtaining a degree webpage – paragraph 7. I prepare the necessary documents for my university registration).

REMINDER. Late arrivals can only be authorised by the Heads of Master for special circumstances. If you register more than 15 days after the start date of your course, your admission letter will no longer be valid and you will no longer be able to register at the university.

Students admitted to a program on a campus other than the Dijon campus should contact their program’s administrative office for registration information.

Administrative registrations: 2026/2027 academic year

If you applied via MonMaster or eCandidat, please follow the online registration procedure.

If you applied via Études en France (or if you were unable to register online) administrative registration (year 2026/2027) will take place on the Dijon campus according to the following phases.

  • Registration for English-taught Master programmes takes place on Wednesdays: 26/08, 02/09 and 09/09 at the Pôle AAFE building (room R03) during the afternoon ONLY from 1:30 pm to 4.30 pm.
  • International Office checks your documents.
  • You pay the university tuition fees by credit card or French bank cheque (payable to “pôle des Relations internationales”).
    • Good to know: you can open a bank account, obtain your bank details (RIB) and a bank card by creating a NICKEL account at a tobacconist’s (for example, near the Université Bourgogne Europe campus at the Tabac de l’Université – 52 Boulevard de l’Université in Dijon). The account will be set up in a matter of minutes and will be available straight away.
    • REMINDER: the payment of specific fees for some of the English-taught master programmes must be made before the start of classes, by bank transfer.
  • You will receive your student card and a welcome gift from the International Office and the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.
  • Once administrative registration has been completed, students who DO NOT have health insurance from an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland must join the French social security system. A member of staff at the registration desk will assist you with this process.
Pedagogical registration

Once you have completed your administrative registration with the International Office, you must also contact the administrative department of the course you have enrolled in to complete your course registration (choice of options, etc.), if necessary.

Remember: if your course starts before you’ve completed your administrative registration, you can (and should!) still take part in classes.

Registration fees

Université Bourgogne Europe tuition fees

Updated fees are usually published on this page at the end of June.

University tuition fees for 2026/2027 academic year will be published here in July.

a) National tuition fees (2025/2026 academic year)

  • 254€ per academic year. In 2025/2026, Université Bourgogne Europe will NOT apply differentiated fees for students from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
  • All students at Master level must pay the national tuition fees (except students receiving a French government grant).
  • The payment for programmes at Dijon campus can be made by credit card or French bank check only during enrolment on site.

b) Specific fees also apply – in addition to the basic national tuition fees – for the following programmes in 2025/2026 academic year.

  • International Master in Business Studies (IMBS): 3500€ per academic year.
  • International Management and Sustainability: (IMS): 3500€ per academic year.
  • Intercultural Management (ICM): 4000€ per academic year.
  • Projects in International and European Cultural Engineering (PIECE): 4000€ per academic year.
  • Vision and Robotics (VIBOT): 1500€ per academic year (above mentioned National tuition fees included).
  • Automotive Engineering for Sustainable Mobility (AESM): 5500€

The payment of specific fees must be made before the start of classes, by bank transfer.
Payment instructions for the VIBOT programme are provided by the coordinating team.

Contribution to student and campus life (Contribution à la vie étudiante et de campus, CVEC)

  • Amount: approximately 105 euros/year. Good to know: students on French government grants are exempt from this fee.
  • Payment period: from July to the day of your administrative registration at University in September.
  • Procedure: log on to the CVEC website and choose your method of payment – online with a bank card or in cash at a French post office.
  • Good to know: someone else can make this payment for you.
  • Don’t forget to present your proof of payment of the Contribution à la vie étudiante et de campus when you register with International Office.
