The University of Burgundy Europe is inviting applications to join the FORTHEM Alliance Student Council. If you are motivated, curious and ready to get involved in an international project, this opportunity is for you.
A European alliance serving students
Since 2019, UBE has been a member of FORTHEM, an alliance of nine European universities. This partnership offers students numerous opportunities: mobility, online courses, research projects, intercultural encounters, professional events, and more. FORTHEM is a gateway to Europe and to new ways of learning, collaborating, and getting involved.
An active role in student governance
The FORTHEM Student Council is composed of two representatives from each university. It plays a key role in decisions related to student life within the alliance. Members participate in meetings, discuss student issues, propose ideas and contribute to the development of FORTHEM’s activities.
The UBE wishes to appoint a substitute student for the academic years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027, with a commitment of at least one year.
Your responsibilities
At the University of Burgundy Europe:
- Relay information about FORTHEM opportunities.
- Be a point of contact for students.
- Participate in FORTHEM events (stands, Campus Days, FORTHEM Week, etc.).
- Moderate the alliance’s student social media accounts (@forthem_ub).
- Support student projects and associations
- Recruit and lead a community of FORTHEM ambassadors
Within the Alliance:
- Participate in Student Council meetings (online and in person)
- Contribute to decisions related to student life
- Monitor the actions carried out by the alliance
- Organise and take part in FORTHEM student conferences
Required profile
Are you a student at UBE in 2025-2026 and 2026-2027?
Do you have a good level of English, an appetite for international affairs and enjoy coming up with ideas?
Are you ready to invest around 3 hours a week in a rewarding role?
