Charline Vigneron appointed Director of the École Supérieure de Musique Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

Following her appointment, effective 1 April 2025, Charline Vigneron has become the new Director of the École Supérieure de Musique Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (ESM BFC). Thanks to her rich background, she intends to take part, alongside the administrative and teaching teams, in the structural stabilisation and development of the ESM BFC, while supporting the students in their artistic and academic careers.

From 1 April 2025, Charline Vigneron becomes the new Director of the École Supérieure de Musique Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (ESM BFC) following her election by a jury made up of representatives of the Prefecture of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the Région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the City of Dijon, Dijon Métropole, Université Bourgogne Europe and the ESM BFC association.

With her rich and diverse professional experience, Charline Vigneron is keen to work alongside the administrative and teaching teams to promote the structural stability and growth of the ESM BFC, while supporting the students in their artistic and academic development. Her vision revolves around several major axes.

Her vision is based on a number of key principles, including:

  • Professional integration through Université Bourgogne Europe, of which the ESM has been a component member since 1 January 2025.
  • Supporting the creation and dissemination of artistic projects
  • Strengthening partnerships with music academies and regional artistic and cultural structures
  • Enriching the range of courses on offer with second and third cycle courses, with the support of Université Bourgogne Europe
  • Integration into the ‘Campus Maret’ and support for the development of Dijon’s new urban higher education campus
