Le Creusot students receive awards at Euro Milano

From 1 to 4 May, more than 50 students from Université Bourgogne Europe’s Le Creusot campus headed to Italy to compete in the 23rd edition of Euro Milano. They competed in cheerleading, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and futsal. This was the last international sporting competition of the university year – a final opportunity to shine, which Le Creusot students seized by winning gold and silver!

This year’s Euro Milano, a large-scale student sports tournament, brought together more than 1,000 students from around twenty countries. Since its first participation in 2022, Université Bourgogne Europe’s Le Creusot site has been a familiar name on the podium, winning one or more medals each year.

At the 2025 event, the cheerleading team regained its place as champions after a consecutive two years in second place. They repeated their achievement of 2022! The women’s beach volleyball team was not to be left out, winning the silver medal after 4 brilliant 2-set matches.
