Online German course level B2.1 – FORTHEM

The Language Centre at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz is offering an online German course at level B2.1, available from Friday, 31 October 2025 via the FORTHEM Digital Academy platform.

What the course offers :

• A self-study programme with interactive content and collaborative activities between students.
• Online sessions with the teacher and other participants, organised every four weeks.
• Three thematic modules: Discovering Germany, Climate Change, and University Life in Germany.
• Educational support with personalised corrections during the self-study phase.

How to register ?

Send an email to deutschkursforthem@uni-mainz.de specifying:

• Your full name
• Your university email address
• Your student number
• Your place and date of birth
• Proof of your language level: either a B1 certificate or a screenshot of the results of an online test certifying your level.
