UBE receives a visit from the Regional Prefect and the Rectors of Dijon and Besançon

On Thursday 12 March, Université Bourgogne Europe had the honour of welcoming the Prefect of the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, the Rector of the academic region and the Rector of the Dijon academy for a visit to our Dijon campus.

This was a unique opportunity to show our institutional partners what makes our university so rich and ambitious:

UBE Data Centre: €14.7 million in investments, 23 permanent jobs, a sovereign infrastructure serving research and education throughout the region.

The Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin Jules Guyot: a national benchmark in wine training and research, rooted in the Burgundy region of excellence, with a UNESCO Chair and a remarkable rate of professional integration.

La P’tite Fac: our community crèche, located in the heart of the campus for 40 years, symbolising a university that cares for its entire community.

The BU Le Cortex Library: a fully renovated university library, open to all, students, researchers and residents, until 10 p.m. on weekdays.

Maison des Sciences Humaines et Sociales de Dijon: an interdisciplinary CNRS/UBE platform, bringing together 16 laboratories in the humanities and social sciences and promoting digital humanities on a national scale.

The atheneum: our cultural centre open to the city, a space for creation, debate and encounters since 1983.

This visit illustrates the strength of the ties between Université Bourgogne Europe and its partners in the State and the Academy, working together to promote student success, research and regional development.
