Welcome day for new UBE employees

On Thursday 2 April 2026, Université Bourgogne Europe welcomed its new employees with a day packed with highlights.

To kick things off, President Vincent Thomas, alongside Valérie Lorentz, Director of Human Resources, and Laurent Gebel, Director General of Services, accompanied by the vice-presidents, presented the university, its organisation, its constituent parts, and all its courses and services.

The morning continued with a friendly get-together over a buffet, attended by the management team, the directors of services, departments and laboratories. Employees then explored several iconic locations on the Dijon campus, either on foot or by bike.

Université Bourgogne Europe once again extends a warm welcome to all its new employees and would like to thank everyone involved, the organisers, participants and supervisors, who contributed to the success of the day.
