5th edition of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Sustainable Development Olympiads
The Sustainable Development Olympiads are back for their 5th edition in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté! From 4 to 18 November 2026, students and staff from the region’s higher education and research institutions are invited to work in teams to tackle environmental challenges and take concrete action to protect the environment. Over the course of 15 days, get involved, form a team, share your best practices with your teammates, tackle the challenges… and try to win the prizes on offer!
An experience open to everyone
Through a variety of challenges, the Sustainable Development Olympiads aim to move from raising awareness to taking action, encouraging us to question our habits, try out new practices and discover that everyone can, in their own way, contribute to the ecological transition. All whilst working as a team and having fun!
Whether you’re a novice or an expert in eco-friendly practices, you’ll find challenges to test your skills. The Olympiads feature a range of formats (quizzes, activities, surveys, learning modules, photos, artistic creations, etc.) centred on five themes that will be explored in turn throughout the challenge:
- Biodiversity conservation
- Digital pollution and artificial intelligence
- Mobility
- Climate change
- Food waste
How can I take part?
To take part in the Olympiads, all you need is a smartphone and the desire to take on the challenges!
- Download the OuiLive app, available from all app stores, onto your smartphone.
- Enter the code ‘ODDETUDIANT’ or ‘ODDPERSONNEL’ depending on your profile.
- Create your account and select your institution.
- Join your department’s team or set up your own with at least six participants.
- For 15 days, take on one or more daily challenges based on the featured theme, earn points and help your team climb the leaderboard! Students and staff compete in separate leaderboards.
- Aim for the podium! The most committed teams and participants could win prizes!

The 2026 Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Sustainable Development Olympiads are organised by SFRI INTEGRATE, a PIA led by Marie and Louis Pasteur University and Bourgogne Europe University, with the support of France 2030 and the CVEC.
