CREPS BFC joins UBE!
On Monday 24 August 2026, CREPS BFC joined UBE as a partner member. It thus joins a network of member institutions, associates and partners comprising higher education and research organisations from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
This integration was formalised by the publication, on 25 August 2026, of the ministerial decree providing for the integration of CREPS BFC into Université Bourgogne Europe.
To formalise this new partnership, a delegation from Université Bourgogne Europe visited CREPS BFC to witness the signing of the agreement between Vincent THOMAS, President of UBE, and Jean-Marc CLAVIER, Director of CREPS BFC. Following the signing, the Director and Fabien BELLE, Deputy Director of CREPS, gave a tour to the delegation, which comprised UBE’s President, Carine MICHEL, Vice-President-elect of the Committee on Education and University Life; Laurence BRONNER, Deputy Director-General of Services; Hervé Assadi, Director of the STAPS Faculty in Dijon-Le Creusot ; and Cyril GOMET, the President’s Chief of Cabinet, on a tour of the centre’s facilities and premises.
This partnership between CREPS and UBE will facilitate cultural exchange between the worlds of sport and academia, enable work on joint projects, and foster the sharing of practices, resources and premises […] it goes without saying!
Jean-Marc CLAVIER, Director of CREPS BFC
CREPS BFC, the first CREPS in France to be integrated into a Experimental Public Institution, joins Université Bourgogne Europe alongside ENSAD, ESM, BSB, ESTP, ESEO, CESI, ESAAB in Nevers, CHU, CGFL, Sciences Po’s Dijon campus and CROUS BFC. Together, these institutions are working on an ambitious and unifying project to address the societal and regional challenges of today and tomorrow.
Taking up « team sports » means demonstrating that, together, we are better.
Vincent Thomas, President of Université Bourgogne Europe
