Lycées–UBE Meeting: A Morning of Exchanges to Prepare for the 2026 Start of the Academic Year
On Wednesday 14 October, the Université Bourgogne Europe hosted the first lycées–university meeting of the 2026-2027 academic year at Polytech, on the Dijon campus. This start-of-year meeting, now an essential fixture, brought together headteachers, senior education advisers, guidance counsellors and National Education psychologists from the academy’s lycées, as well as representatives of the Rectorat and of UBE’s Training Department (Pôle Formation).
Led and presented by Sandrine Rousseaux, Vice-President for Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes, the morning aimed to give education teams the key information they need to best support lycée students in their guidance choices ahead of the opening of the Parcoursup platform, a crucial period for future students.
Here are the main points.
UBE News
The meeting opened with an overview of the university’s latest news, including key figures for the 2026 start of the year on enrolments and the programmes most popular with new students. Among the news items were the integration of the CREPS Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and the new and continued funding for the FORTHEM European alliance, developments that confirm the university’s European and international dimension and strengthen its local roots.
What’s New for 2026
At the heart of the meeting was a presentation of changes to the course offering. Thanks to the support of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region, the 2026 start of the year brings two new developments in health: the opening of the PASS (Parcours d’accès spécifique santé) in Chalon-sur-Saône, which improves access to health studies in the region, and the integration of Dijon’s Institut de formation en masso-kinésithérapie (IFMK, physiotherapy training institute) into the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, within the UFR of Health Sciences.
Two Reforms at the Heart of the Discussions
The second part of the morning was devoted to presenting two major reforms. Cécile Carimantran, of Inspé Bourgogne, detailed the reform of training and recruitment for primary and secondary school teachers and for senior education advisers. Françoise Goirand, of the UFR of Health Sciences, presented the reform of access to health studies, which is currently under way. These productive exchanges helped lycée teams to better understand these changes and to have precise information to pass on to students and their families ahead of the major guidance milestones.
