“Supporting and Accelerating Pedagogical Transformations in Higher Education and Research in Response to Societal Challenges.”
Three Major Themes at the Heart of the Discussions
The 2026 edition will focus on three major themes that currently shape educational policies and teaching practices:
- Addressing ecological and societal challenges;
- Reaching and supporting diverse learner populations to foster their success;
- Collaborating with the socio-economic environment.
The conference will highlight ongoing transformations in higher education and research while promoting the sharing of experiences and networking among stakeholders committed to pedagogical innovation.
Showcasing Initiatives and Fostering Collaboration
Through this event, RITM-BFC aims to showcase the many actions and projects it has supported and developed over the years, including pedagogical experiments, research projects, cross-disciplinary initiatives, and programs designed to enhance student success and lifelong learning.
The conference will also provide a forum for dialogue between academic teams and regional partners, encouraging the exchange of perspectives and the development of new collaborative initiatives.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss current topics that are shaping contemporary teaching and learning practices, including:
- Ecological transition and sustainable development;
- Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA);
- Artificial intelligence in education;
- The development of critical thinking skills;
- Guidance and support mechanisms that promote student success;
