UBE’s IUT in Le Creusot celebrated its 50th anniversary!
On Thursday 21 May, IUT brought its 50th year to a spectacular close! Students and staff from all the institutions on the Campus Sud Bourgogne were invited to a memorable afternoon and evening.
From 3pm to 6pm, Crous Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Olympics brought together around forty students! In teams of six, they competed in a dozen fun and sporting challenges. The two best teams faced off in the final on the Wall of Champions.
From 7pm to 11pm, nearly 300 people gathered for IUT’s 50th anniversary party! It was a fitting way to mark the end of this academic year, which has been unlike any other. The programme included a DJ, food trucks, a birthday cake (prepared by our colleagues at CROUS university restaurant in Le Creusot), a screening of a commemorative video, and a spectacular finale featuring a bespoke drone show!
